DEFINITION:

Diabetes is an auto-immune condition in which the immune system is activated to destroy the cells in the pancreas which produce insulin. Diabetes is increasing due to our unhealthy diet or lifestyle.

Type 2 diabetes is the most common type of diabetes, with around 3 million people in the UK diagnosed with the condition. For some people, type 2 diabetes may be managed through diet and exercise. Other people may also need medication to manage blood sugar. When glucose builds up in the blood instead of going into cells, the cells are not able to function properly. Other problems associated with the build-up of glucose in the blood include.

There are three types Diabetes:

1.Type 1 diabetes – Type 1 diabetes is believed to be an autoimmune condition. It happens when your immune system attacks and destroy the beta cells in your pancreas that produce insulin. Type 1 diabetes has no cure, but it can be managed through diet and managed life style. Sugar builds up in the blood instead of being used as energy. About five to 10 percent of people with diabetes have type 1 diabetes. Type 1 diabetes develops in childhood or adolescence, but it can develop in adulthood. Type 1 diabetes is always treated with insulin. Occurs when the pancreas does not produce insulin.

2.Type 2 diabetes- Approximately 90% of all cases of diabetes worldwide are type 2.
There are some peoples can able to control their type 2 diabetes signs by losing weight. A healthy diet, doing daily exercises and monitoring their blood glucose levels. Type 2 diabetes is usually a progressive disease it gradually gets worse. The patient of type 2 diabetes has to take medicine continue. Overweight and tubby peoples have a higher risk of developing type2 diabetes compared to those with a healthy body weight.

3. Gestational Diabetes- Gestational diabetes was only having during pregnancy. If you have it, you can still have a healthy baby with help from your doctor and by doing simple things every day manage your blood sugar. Gestational diabetes is diabetes that occurs in pregnant women. It occurs in about 4% of all pregnancies. Pregnant women can help control gestational diabetes by eating healthy foods, exercises and taking meditation.Managing your diabetes can help protect you and your baby. Like type 1 and type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes causes blood sugar levels too high. Gestational diabetes is a treated with a diabetic diet exercise and possibly insulin injection.

CAUSES OF DIABETES

The causes of diabetes depend on your genetic makeup, family history, health and environmental factors. There are not common causes of diabetes that fits every type of diabetes. The reason of not defined diabetes is that because the causes of diabetes vary depending on the individual and the type.
CAUSES OF TYPE 1 DIABETES
Type 1 diabetes is caused when immune system was starting destroying the cells in the pancreas that make insulin. This causes diabetes by leaving the body without enough insulin to function normally. This is called an autoimmune reaction or autoimmune cause because the body is attacking itself.
There are no particular causes of diabetes, but the following triggers can be involved:
• Viral or bacterial infection
• Chemical toxins within food
• Unidentified component causing autoimmune reaction

CAUSES OF TYPE 2 DIABETES

Type 2 diabetes causes are usually multifactorial – more than one diabetes cause is involved. Often, the most overwhelming factor is a family history of type 2 diabetes.

There are some risk factors for type 2 diabetes, type 1 or all type of diabetes which increase the chances of developing the condition.

• Obesity
• Living an inactive lifestyle
• Increasing age
• Bad diet

Gestational diabetes causes

The causes of diabetes in pregnancy also known as gestational diabetes remain unknown. However, there are some risk factors that increase the chances of developing this condition:

• Family history of gestational diabetes
• Overweight or obese
• Suffer from polycystic ovary syndrome
• Have had a large baby weighing over 9lb

SYMPTOMS OF DIABETES

There are some DIABETES SYMPTOMS :

 Unusual weight can be diabetes: If diabetes takes place in a human body inability to produce much insulin, in turn, causes rapid weight loss. Such weight loss without any apparent reason. It can be diabetes, so should have to check your sugar level.

 A dry vagina can occur as a result of diabetes: Diabetes leads to sexual dysfunction in men as well as women.
